As Chief Operating Officer (HR & Commercial), Lakshman heads the Human Resources department at Kavin, and is responsible for leadership & organizational development; compensation, staffing and learning strategies; developing retention strategies; performance management; increasing employee satisfaction and engagement.

Lakshmanan joined Kavin 2009. Before this, he has worked with Kaveri Engineering Industries India; Indian Aluminium Company Limited , India; Hindustan Latex Limited, India; Aluminium City Limited. , Tanzania; Jindal Aluminium Limited India; Al Hamad Industrial Co Llc; Elite Extrusion LLc. RAK, UAE.

He has over 30 years of experience in various industries and his expertise includes Marketing/international Trade, Production Management, Purchase, Project Management. He is qualified lead auditor for Quality Management systems, TQM and is a hands on trainer on soft skills.

Lakshman did his graduation in Physics and Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Science.
